ProfCore brand new partner of Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award
ProfCore will be a partner of the Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award. The award - named after the polar explorer and climate activist Marc Cornelissen (1968-2015) - was created to support talented sustainability pioneers in the field of innovation. ProfCore has entered into a partnership for at least three years.
The winner of the annual award wins 35,000 euros to spend on sustainable innovations. The initiative also brings together sustainability pioneers, who can share their knowledge and skills in the field of sustainability.
With the partnership, ProfCore gives substance to its sustainable ambitions. Jos Crijns, managing director of ProfCore: "Sustainability is of course an important theme in our society. Certainly in the industry, which has an important part to play in achieving the climate objectives. Our employees contribute to the realization of those goals on the work floor on a daily basis. But as ProfCore we also look at how we can further contribute to this, for example by supporting these kinds of sustainable initiatives. The Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award is a great initiative that we gladly support".
A total of 25 sustainability pioneers have entered the competition, the award ceremony for which will take place in January. There are still three candidates left, who will compete for the prize in the final round. All of them stand for promising ideas and innovations in the field of sustainability.
The winner of the award will be announced on 20 January 2021.
